GO riders mind your manners if you don’t already.
A new campaign begins Monday that looks to reduce rude, inconsiderate behaviour on GO vehicles.
According to an online survey of more than 1,000 riders last fall, the top five complaints are:
Feet on Seats 67%
Loud talking on phones 60%
Littering 56%
Bags on Seats 54%
Loud talking, crowding platforms 52%
There’ll also be a social media copnent to the campaign that revolves around #etiquettefail.
Metrolinx spokesperson Ann Marie Aikins says ”We have made this campaign a little humourous and edgy in the hopes we will spark a conversation and people talking about this. Our goal is to make your ride more comfortable.”
