PASSENGERS INJURED AFTER TURBULENCE AFFECTS AIR CANADA FLIGHT

Air Canada is not confirming how many passengers were injured when one of its jets ran into heavy air turbulence – en route from Shanghai to Toronto.

The Boeing 777 was diverted to Calgary, where fire and other emergency crews were waiting.

At least three passengers could be seen being loaded into ambulances.

The Air Canada flight was carrying 332 passengers – and there were 19 crew members.
