DISNEY FILM STAR DEAN JONES DIES, 84

Dean Jones, who starred in Disney films in the 1960’s has died of Parkinson’s.
He was 84.
His boyish good looks made him Disney’s favourite actor for such lighthearted films like ”That Darn Cat (1965)” and ”The Love Bug (1968).”

Jones made his movie debut opposite Paul Newman in the boxing film ”Somebody Up There Likes Me (1956), and ”Jailhouse Rock (1957) with Elvis Presley followed.
He also had roles in five Broadway shows, including ”There Was A Little Girl (1960)” opposite Jane Fonda and appeared in numerous TV series and specials.
Dean Jones was inducted into the Disney Legends Hall of Fame in 1995.
