This brutal winter’s chill is still with us – but there’s hope for those dreaming of packing-in the parka.
The extreme cold weather alert continues in Toronto with more bitter sub-zero temperatures expected for tonight and a low of -18 strengthened by some stout wind chills.
We’re looking at a high of -6 on Friday with morning wind chill values in the range of -25.
But there’s hope.
On Saturday Environment Canada is predicting a high of – plus 1 C.
And take heart – the high on Tuesday is expected to be a balmy 6 C.
So stay bundled up for now – and know that we’re nearing the end of our 2015 ice-age.
