An exhibit that chronicles the career of Paul Simon opens Thursday at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland.
”Paul Simon: Words & Music” will feature a first-person narrative from Simon – a first for the museum.
It’ll showcase over 80 artifacts, including Simon’s first acoustic guitar, Simon and Garfunkel’s original recording contract, handwritten lyrics for ”The Boxer” and a letter Simon wrote as a teen from summer camp to Art Garfunkel.
Simon’s in the Rock Hall as a solo artist and as one-half Simon & Garfunkel.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the folk rock duo’s debut album, ”Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.”
The 73-year old Simon’s won 12 Grammys.
