He won’t be sworn in until December, but Toronto’s mayor-elect is beginning the process of transition.
Chairing his ten-member team will be Case Ootes, a former councillor and deputy mayor under Mel Lastman.
John Tory’s named former reporter Chris Eby, Chief of Staff.
There’s also a 19-member transition advisory council that includes former city councillor David Soknacki, who dropped out of the mayor’s race, Ryerson University Sheldon Levy and former provincial liberal cabinet minister Alvin Curling.
Ootes also chaired Rob Ford’s transition team four years ago.
