CARP – A New Vision of Aging – is welcoming a special guest to its Annual General Meeting and Chapter Congress at the ZoomerPlex in Toronto’s Liberty Village today.
Federal Liberal leader Justin Trudeau will host a town hall style meeting from 10:45am to 12:00 noon with the leadership of 53 CARP chapters across the country with an emphasis on pension reform.
CARP’s Vice President of Advocacy Susan Eng says, “CARP leaders want to hear what the Liberal Leader has to say about their priority issues – retirement security, access to healthcare and end of life care – especially as the next federal election is just around the corner.” Eng points out that “CARP members are the country’s most prolific and politically engaged voters. Mr. Trudeau will have a lively session!”
