As the debate continued in the Commons about Canada’s future contribution to the American-led coalition against Islamic State terrorists, Hillary Clinton says Washington will be happy with whatever form it takes.
The former U.S. secretary of state indicated no preference during a speech in Ottawa.
”I know that your Parliament is now debating a plan to do even more, including dispatching fighter jets and other material. United States, I’m sure, will welcome and respect whatever level of support Canada decides is appropriate to help meet this shared challenge.”
The Harper Conservatives plan will likely be approved given the government’s majority.
