The re-opening of the Picasso Museum in Paris has been delayed again.
The museum has been closed for more that four years for renovation and expansion, and its re-opening date has been set back several times. A spokesperson for the museum gave no reason for the latest delay, and would not say when the re-opening would take place.
Andrea Longrais did admit that the facility is almost ready to open its doors again.
The date is up to France’s Culture Ministry. Reports in French newspapers say the Ministry is concerned about security.
Longrais says she expects the Picasso Museum to finally re-open before the year is over.
