Toronto now has a second cultural area to complement the Entertainment District.
The Bloor Street Cultural Corridor runs west from Bay to Bathurst. The Corridor is home to twelve leading cultural institutions, including the Royal Ontario Museum, Koerner Hall, Tafelmusik, and the Toronto Consort.
The designation is meant to draw residents and tourists to a range of concert venues, museums, galeries, and samples of Toronto’s cultural diversity.
The Bloor Street Cultural Corridor has the support of the City of Toronto, Toronto Tourism, the Ontario Arts Council, and local business associations.
