Canada has won its fourth straight Olympic gold medal in women’s hockey.
The precious medal came in dramatic fashion – as Marie-Philip Poulin scored in overtime to beat the American team 3-2 in a stunning championship final.
Poulin also scored with 55 seconds left in the third period to send the game to overtime.
Brianne Jenner scored Canada’s first goal early in the third period.
Shannon Szabados made 27 saves in the Canadian net at the Bolshoy Ice Dome while Jessie Vetter stopped 28 shots for the U.S.
