If there’s a provincial election next spring, don’t be surprised if Andrea Horwath’s New Democrats win.
That’s the rumbling coming from some Liberals and Conservatives.
An unidentified Liberal insider’s quoted as saying ”Howarth could well win this”.
A Tory MPP, who’s not named, reportedly said ”Don’t kid yourself, she might win”.
Provincial politicians return to work February 18th and the 51-year-old Horwath is not saying if she’ll vote with the Tories to defeat the government’s spring budget, triggering a trip to the polls.
Bob Rae’s New Democrats were in power from 1990 -95.
