A snowfall warning has been issued for Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and Niagara among other areas of southern and eastern Ontario.
A snowband off the lake will mean more snow over southern Mississauga and Toronto near the lakeshore.
Fifteen to 20 cms are possible by the morning.
Meanwhile, there’s a winter storm warning for several areas including Hamilton, Burlington and Oakville.
Cold easterlies will pick up extra moisture from the relatively mild waters of the lake.
That could result in snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cms.
