As we’ve been reporting, Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale has filed a libel notice over comments made in Conrad Black’s interview with Mayor Rob Ford, which aired on Monday night on Vision TV.

In an interview on the CBC today, Dale explained that he had decided by yesterday morning not to pursue legal action.  However, he says he changed his mind after hearing a subsequent interview Ford gave to a Washington sports radio station.  It’s not known if the American radio station will be added to the threatened libel action.
