Several hundred unionized employees at The Air Canada Centre are on strike after voting against the latest contract offer from Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. However, MLSE confirms that tonight’s Raptor’s game will go ahead and tomorrow nights Leaf’s game is also scheduled to be played. However, two restaurants in and around the ACC, Real Sports and Eleven, will be closed until further notice because of the strike by about 600-hundred staff including in the kitchen, bar and service areas. At the ACC the employees do things like changing the hardwood court to ice from the Raptors to the Leafs games. But once again MLSE says despite the strike tonight’s Raptors game and tomorrow night’s Leafs game will go ahead.
