This proves that it’s not just for granny anymore.

A University of Central Missouri graphic design professor managed to run and knit his way into the record books at the same time during the Kansas City Marathon.

David Babcock ran the marathon in five hours, 48 minutes and 27 seconds and in the process knitted a scarf just over 3.6 metres long almost double the previous knitting record.
