Britain will join France and the United States in advancing a U.N. Security Council resolution to put Syria’s chemical weapons under international control.
British Prime Minister David Cameron told a parliamentary committee today that the proposal should be taken very seriously because it would accomplish the goal of getting rid of chemical weapons inside Syria.
