Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau is making no apologies for admitting to using marijuana and says it’s time to change the law. In an interview with Huffington Post Canada, Trudeau admitted to having smoked pot as recently as three years ago, when he was already a member of Parliament. Trudeau says he’s tried it five or six times and just wasn’t that into it. Trudeau was in Quebec City, faced a number of questions from reporters and expressed no regrets. He says what’s important now is to end the prohibition policy of the current government which costs law enforcement $500,000,000 and has resulted in hundreds of thousands of criminal records in the past 7 years. The Liberal leader believes public opinion has moved on and he thinks his admission that he doesn’t drink coffee will cause him more problems in social media.
