Broadway legend Joel Grey is visiting the Smithsonian to donate items from the film Cabaret to the National Museum of American History.

This time, he’s donating a hat worn by a gorilla who danced with Grey in the show’s musical number, If You Could See Her.

The 80-year-old won  a Tony Award for his role of the Master of Ceremonies  in the 1966 stage  version of John Kander and Fred Ebb’s Cabaret. He reprised his role in the movie in 1972 and won an Oscar.

The hat from If You Could See Her will join other objects from Grey’s costume that he donated to the museum in 1989.
