Prime Minister Harper says Conservative Senator Pamela Wallin’s travel bills are in line with those of M-Ps from Saskatchewan.
Wallin’s expenses and housing records have led to questions about whether she actually lives in that province.
She says she spent 168 days there last year, and that her expenses for travelling specifically to Saskatchewan are relatively high because she often goes there from places outside of Ottawa.
Wallin has a condo in Toronto.
The Senators also under an expense review are Mike Duffy, Patrick Brazeau, and Mac Harb.
