It’s a show featuring many artists who have made careers out of sheer fabric and exposed skin but performers on Sunday’s Grammy Awards telecast are being warned to -watch their act.

The  CBS network  has sent a memo to performers and presenters discouraging the display of any exposed skin, especially buttocks and breasts.

The e-mail is labelled “Standard And Practice Wardrobe Advisory.”

It advises stars to avoid  thong-type costumes and  sheer,  see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples.

The rules  are geared to prevent CBS from being hauled before the Federal Communications Commission and fined for showing inappropriate footage during primetime.

The Grammys are due to be broadcast this Sunday  evening at 8  o’clock
