Toronto is being hailed as one of world’s top financial centres.
Two international studies by prominent financial services firms – PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG – rank Toronto as one of the top three cities in the world to do business.
The ranking comes in the fifth annual Cities of Opportunity report placing Toronto third behind New York City and London in its global study of 27 centres of finance, commerce and culture.
Mayor Rob Ford says the rankings show that Toronto has developed into a global financial centre and is competitive at the highest level.
