A member of one of the most popular singing groups of the Fifties has died.
Dorothy McGuire sang with her sisters Phyllis and Christine as the McGuire Sisters. They sold millions of records with hits such as Sincerely, Sugartime, and Goodnight, Sweetheart.
The McGuire Sisters retired in 1968 but reunited at Toronto’s Royal York Hotel in 1986.
Dorothy McGuire died at her son’s home in Arizona after suffering from Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. She is survived by her sisters and family.
