Dalton McGuinty has a definite idea of what he would like to see discussed during this week’s meeting of Canada’s premiers in Halifax.
McGuinty says he wants make sure health care spending and energy are on the table.
The Premier wants to see a discussion of a united strategy to keep costs down as his government battles with the Ontario Medical Association over fees for doctors. McGuinty also would like to see the premiers discuss a national energy strategy that would make the provinces less reliant on Alberta’s oil sands.
