A big boost for artists from  advertising magnate and art collector Charles Saatchi.

The online gallery he founded six years ago is starting a new push to promote its platform for up-and-coming artists.

‘Saatchi Online”  is introducing its first exhibition under its new chief executive, Margo Spiritus.

100 art curators from around the world each chose 10 artists to showcase on the site for a day.

The total of 1,000 artists were chosen from among 60,000 represented on “Saatchi Online”  where many of the artists are unknown and have uploaded and priced their work themselves – earning 70 percent of sale prices.
