In what can only be described as a first, the Birmingham Royal Ballet has been booked to perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival in England.

The members will perform,”Black Sabbath – The Ballet” on the festival’s iconic Pyramid Stage June 30th

“Black Sabbath – The Ballet,” is described as “a powerful and moving abstract show.”

Later this year the company will present the world premiere of “Luna.”  That is a new work inspired by the pioneering women of Birmingham. It’s being presented by an all-woman creative team.
