The Leafs packed their bags, cleaned out their lockers and said their goodbyes yesterday, two days after being eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs in a seventh game, overtime, loss in Boston.

But, the playoffs are just about to begin for Toronto’s PWHL team.

Unlike the Leafs, Toronto has avoided Boston as their semi-final opponent and instead has selected 4th place Minnesota.

Finishing first over all, gave Toronto that option.

The best of five semifinal begins Wednesday night at 7:00 at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.

The other series features Montreal and Boston,  It begins Thursday night in Montreal .
