He already one of the busiest conductors in the business and he’s Canadian.
That’s Montreal’s Yannick Nezet-Seguin conducting the Chamber Orchestra of Europe (above).
The 49-year old is already the music director of the Metropolitan Opera, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Orchestre Métropolitain in Montreal and leads the COE in the summer at Baden-Baden, Germany.
He was Bradley Cooper’s conducting coach for the Leonard Bernstein movie “Maestro.”
And he’s about to get busier.
Come September, Nezet-Seguin will take up a further position as Head of Conducting at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.
