Call it the Keith Lee effect.

The popular American food food critic – who has over 16 million followers on  social media– hit up some Toronto restaurants recently.

Among the stops, Afro’s Pizza downtown.

 

 

 

 

 

Following Lee’s glowing review, the tiny pizza shop has been jammed with customers.

Lee is known for bringing business to often small and family-owned eateries he reviews.

He also stopped at a Scarborough Iraqi shawarma shop, a backyard dessert shop in Ajax and an Asian-fusion brunch restaurant in the city.

And all report a boost in business since Lee’s visits.

In one video, the martial artist turned food critics, says Toronto has some of the nicest people in the world.
