Caroline Mulroney will be among those delivering eulogies at the state funeral for her father, and Canada’s former prime minister Brian Mulroney, a week Saturday.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Pierre Karl Peladeau, Wayne Gretzky, former Quebec premier Jean Charest and former U.S. secretary of state James Baker are among others scheduled to speak at the service at Montreal’s Notre Dame Basilica.

Only invited guests will be allowed inside but the service will be broadcast live at 11 a.m. next Saturday.

Tributes will begin Monday though when MPs return to the House of Commons after a two-week break.

Mulroney’s casket is to arrive in Ottawa Tuesday morning where it will lie in state for two days at the Sir John A. Macdonald building across the street from Parliament Hill.

The family will be greeted by dignitaries, starting with Governor General Mary Simon and the prime minister, at 10 a.m.

The public will be able to pay their respects between 12:30 and 6 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.

The casket will then head to Montreal’s St. Patrick’s Basilica for two days.

Public visitation is scheduled from 12 to 6 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

Mulroney’s casket will be moved to Notre Dame Basilica Saturday morning.
