The more the opposition calls on him to reverse the appointments of two former staffers to a committee that recommends provincial judges, the more Doug Ford digs in.
As he faced questions from Official Opposition Leader Marit Stiles in the legislature, the premier got heated.
”I’m not going to double down, I’m not going to triple down, I’m going to quadruple down to make sure that violent criminals go to jail,” screamed across the aisle.
”You guys are so weak, it makes me sick.”
The two former staffers who are both registered lobbyists ”cleared and passed a rigorous conflict of interest screening process,” according to a spokesperson for the attorney-general.
