P-M MAKES A SURPRISE VISIT TO UKRAINE, TO MARK TWO YEARS SINCE RUSSIA'S INVASION

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has signed a new security pact with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The P-M made the announcement in Ukraine today, where he joined other world leaders during a surprise visit to the country, to mark the two-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The new security agreement includes $320-million dollars in new military aid, as well as $75-million for demining efforts and intelligence gathering.
