There will be a season long swan song for one of the The National Ballet of Canada’s most senior dancers.
42-year old Guillaume Cote, the ballet’s principal dancer since 2004 is going to retire at the end of next season.
The Quebec-born dancer says he’s sad to be leaving, but also acknowledges that performing ballet is something you simply can’t grow old doing.
Much of the 2024-2025 season will be dedicated to Cote’s send-off.
