At least one person’s dead and up to 15 wounded after shots rang out at the end of the Super Bowl parade.

Two people are in police custody.

Mayor Quinton Lucas says he’s as heartbroken as anybody, as well as incredibly upset and disappointed.

The Chiefs organization put out a statement saying it is also saddened, calling the incident a ”senseless act of violence” while adding their ”hearts go out to the victims, their families, and all of Kansas City.”

The NFL team says players, coaches and staff are all safe and that they’re in communication with local officials.

Some players also shared messages of support on social media.
