King Charles has returned to London from his country retreat for what is expected to be further treatment following his cancer diagnosis.

Charles and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, were flown by helicopter from their Sandringham Estate in eastern England to Buckingham Palace earlier today.

It was announced last week that the king had been diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer and will suspend public engagements but will continue with state business such as signing papers.

Both Canadian Heritage and the Prime Minister’s office have confirmed that Charles will not by making a trip to Canada this year.
