More acclaim for 48-year old Montreal conductor Yannick Nezet-Seguin.
He’s in the running for a Juno Award after being nominated twice in the same category: Classical Album of the Year – Large Ensemble.
The first nomination is for his work with Montreal’s Orchestre Metropolitan on Sibelius 3 and 4. The other for leading The Philadelphia Orchestra on Rachmaninoff: Symphonies Nos. 2 and 3.
The Junos will be handed out in Halifax, Sunday, March 24th.
