The cancer was discovered after King Charles was in hospital for treatment of his ”benign prostate enlargement.”

 

Following the procedures, Buckingham Palace confirmed the 75-year-old monarch has cancer, but did not specify what type or how advanced the diagnosis is.

”The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure,” reads the statement.

”He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.”
