She hasn’t played a live show in her adopted home town of Los Angeles in almost a quarter of a century but she’s planning one for the fall.
Canadian music legend Joni Mitchell is going to follow her first performance at the Grammys Sunday night with a headlining performance at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, October 19th.
The 80-year old, Alberta-born, Saskatchewan-raised, singer-songwriter is a nine-time Grammy winner who suffered a brain aneurysm in 2015 and didn’t perform live again until the Newport Folk Festival in 2022.
The album of her performance at Newport is in the running for “Best Folk Album” at this year’s Grammys.
