It’s been more than half a century since Sir Paul McCartney and his band Wings released “Band on the Run.”

Now, in celebration of its 50th anniversary, Paul McCartney and Wings’ have released a bare bones version of the album.

But this time time without some of the layers that were added after the original rough mixes.  Hence, the word “underdubbed” in the title.

Band on the Run was the third studio album by McCartney and Wings and Sir Paul’s fifth album after leaving the Beatles in 1970
