For the first time ever, Canadian music legend Joni Mitchell is going to perform at the Grammys.

The now 80-year old is a nominee for best folk album for her live recording of an appearance at the Newport Folk Festival in 2022.  That was her first public appearance since suffering a brain aneurysm in 2015.

The Alberta-born, Saskatchewan-raised music icon has been nominated for numerous Grammys and already has nine in her trophy case.

The Grammys will be handed out this coming Sunday in Los Angeles.
