King Charles has been admitted to the private London Clinic to undergo a procedure for an enlarged prostate. He’s expected to spend at least one night at the hospital.

The 75-year-old will be treated at the same hospital where the Princess of Wales is recovering after undergoing recent abdominal surgery. The two Royals visited after  Charles arrived at the hospital.

King Charles made his health problem public as a way of sending a message to other men to get their prostates checked.

Since the news, the UK’s National Health Service website saw a surge in searches about enlarged prostates.

Buckingham Palace says the King  is delighted to learn that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness.
