The New York Philharmonic, with a little help from the Metropolitan Opera, is planning a night of excerpts of music from the Academy Award-nominated film “Maestro,” with star Bradley Cooper on hand, conducted by Canada’s Yannick Nezet-Seguin.
The 48-year old Montreal native, Nezet-Seguin, who is music director the Metropolitan Opera, was Cooper’s conducting coach and led the music for the soundtrack of Leonard Bernstein’s life.
“Maestro” received seven Oscar nominations including best picture and best actor for Cooper who will participate in a post-performance conversation.
The event is set for February 14th
