There are multiple reports that Israel has proposed a plan, through U.S. mediaries, that would provide a 2 month long ceasefire in the Israel Hamas war.

The pause in fighting would allow for the return of all 136 hostages held in Gaza since the terror attacks of October 7th.

Of the 136 hostages, 31 are presumed dead.

During the ceasefire, Israel would release a certain number of Palestinian prisoners and reposition some of its military in Gaza to allow civilians to return to what’s left of their homes.

This news comes as family members of the hostages are losing their patience and pushing for their release.

Individuals with connections to the hostages stormed a finance committee meeting of the Israeli parliament, demanding they act to bring them home.

They slammed desks and shouted “now” as lawmakers sat stunned in a moment highlighting the growing pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

At the same time, there is confirmation from the Israeli military 21 of its soldiers have been killed in central Gaza in what is described as the deadliest attack of the war.
