Believe it or not, it was 50-years ago last night TV audiences across North America were introduced to this.

On Tuesday, January 15th 1974, Richie, Potsie, Ralph and The Fonz entered our living rooms for a visit that would end up lasting 11 years.

The show was set in Milwaukee, revolved around The Cunningham Family and was inspired by the movie, “American Graffiti.”

The TV show didn’t take off with viewers until a couple of seasons later, but by the 1976-77 season, it was the most-watched show on television have over taken “All in the Family.”
