"THE HONEYMOONER'S" TRIXIE DIES AT 99

She played Ed Norton’s sarcastic wife Trixie on the ‘Honeymooners,” in the 1950s.

Joyce Randolph was the last surviving main character from one of the most beloved comedies in TVs golden age.

“The Honeymooners” starred Jackie Gleason as the blustering bus driver Ralph Kramden, Audrey Meadows played his wisecracking wife with Art Carney as Norton.

Randolph later appeared on Broadway but, after paying Trixie, struggled to find other parts and more than 50 years after playing the part, she still received dozens of letters a week.

Joyce Randolph died of natural causes over the weekend in New York. She was 99.
