It’s the kind of weather that’ll set your teeth chattering.

Colder temperatures will settle in this week across much of Ontario marking a major about face from what has been a relatively mild winter so far.

Environment Canada is forecasting temperatures that feel like -20 or more with the wind chill across the region today.

The cold snap was ushered in by a storm system that passed over the province over the weekend, dumping up to 30 cms of snow in some areas.

Hydro One says it has restored electricity to more than 100-thousand customers, but is still working to fix some of the damage caused by high winds.
