ACTRESS GLYNIS JOHNS DIES AT 100

She is being remembered for her role as Mrs Winifred Banks in the 1964 Disney classic “Mary Poppins.”

Glynis Johns was also the first to sing Steven Sondheim’s “Send in the Clowns” on Broadway.

Johns was a British actress whose career on stage and screen spanned eight decades.

She won a Tony, was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Academy Award and was one of the last surviving major stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood and classical years of British cinema

Glynis Johns passed away yesterday at an assisted living home in Los Angeles.  She was 100
