One of the best known choirs in the world is back on stable financial footing after help from the Austrian government.

The Vienna Boys Choir has received almost $900-thousand from the Austrian Government to help it out of severe financial difficulties.

The Vienna Boys choir has existed for more than 500 years and has been struggling with rising costs due to inflation and a lack of income after many of its concerts were canceled during the pandemic.

The Austrian chancellor says the government and the choir will continue to work together to find solution that will ensure the long-term financing of both the Vienna Boys and Girls Choirs.
