If driving along Highway 407 is part of your daily commute, prepare to dig a little deeper to pay for the privilege.

Starting in February, tolls will increase between one-and-eleven cents per kilometre depending on the time of day and zone travelled.

Officials with Highway 407 ETR say it’ll add about $5 to your monthly bill.

While the rates are updated annually, they’ve been frozen for the past four years, since the start of the pandemic.

The 407 is Ontario’s only toll highway, spanning 108 kilometres between Pickering and Burlington.
