One of the world’s best known and successful authors continues to put his money where his mouth is.

James Patterson is once again handing out holiday bonuses.  This year 600 employees at independent bookstores across the United States will be receiving $500 each.

Patterson says “book sellers save lives – calling what they do “crucia!”

The 76-year old writer has given millions of dollars to booksellers, librarians and teachers over the years and has now co-authored a tribute book called, “The Secret Lives of Booksellers and Librarians.”

It’ll be in independent book stories in in April.
